HUGE WINTERS

For the 2nd year we had a severe winter...snow,snow,snow. I was shovelling up to 3 times a day. The council would clear the snow, dumping it in parks,play areas,laybye and it was so cold it wouldn't melt fast enough. 

These times certainly toughen up resolve.

TORREMOLINOS

We jetted off for a wonderful week on the Costa del Sol.

We stayed at a comfortable hotel serving delicious food & enjoyed cycling,feeding stray cats,the pretty town & beach walks.

We took a day trip into nearby Malaga & then a long day out to Gibralter which was fascinating incl. a bar dedicated to Albert Hammond who is a Gilbralterian

SA

Our trip this time apart from the usual visits incl. a trip to Witbank to see Davie's son play rugby...brought back great memories from my playing days.

DOWNPATRICK

Char had a contract in Co. Down in N Ireland & really enjoyed it. I visited with her in her apartment. We cruised the town & the area which I had seen before on my stay a few yrs back...really nice but her contract was not renewed.

BROQEL

...he was brought to me by my neighbour after being knocked down on the road. I rushed him to the vet who worked to save his life.

We took him on & he has been with us ever since...not the sharpest knife in the drawer but he is ours & we love him.
