UKRAINE
This terrible war in the east has begun.
No...it is not the conflict that will be bring about world destruction but it is a move in the chess game that will eventually be part of the End Days...
THE REAL CONFLICT IS YET TO COME
CALLY CORN
SLEEPER
Took the bus over to Ft William...a really nice journey from Inverness.
The town was attractive. Waited in the Celedonian Sleeper passenger lounge before boarding.
A little dissapointed...had to pay for food The bathroom was for midgets.
The pretty Scottish stations were lovely. slept well & we arrived in Euston on time.
LONDON CAB
Took a cab to Paddington...long time since I was on the streets of London. Lovely man & we had a good chat...fare was reasonable.
TRAIN
The journey down to Penzance seemed to drag on but the sights were interresting...not withstanding the theft of cable from the track the day before.
PENZANCE
Arrived in this lovely looking town...& this proved to be the case.
A tidal port, it also boasted much of everything for a relatively small population
STUDIO
I picked up my rental , a Corsa & did some groceries before heading out north of town to the countryside near Ludgvan.
The studio was down the path from a cottage with stunning views. Inside it was supurb as well.
BOAT
I met with an interresting man-Roger Underwood...who had been fishing all his life, now retired. He & his family lived on an old Norwegian fishing boat. He had in the past used to rent out cabins for holiday makers.
Sadly ill health put a stop to it. He kindly showed me around & is now a writer.
MOUSEHOLE
This tiny village really is like a home for mice...very picturesque.
LANDS END
So now have been to John O Groats in the north & here in the south.
ST IVES
A small & quaint town with sandy, white beaches, narrow streets.
FALMOUTH
With a large estuary, including a naval presence. An attractive & growing, busy town
MARAZION
Small village, beautiful beach...a favorite of mine!
PADSTOW
On the way to Bristol & my flight home; stopped off at this picturesque town. I wanted to visit one of Chef Rick Stein's establishments.
SO LONG MY FRIEND
Peter Gladwin who had been a friend many yrs ago, although we were out of touch in recent times, passed away. He was in his mid 60's.
I have referenced Pete in previous chapters.
When we were both much younger we had some good times...allbeit not GOD honouring!
He was a confirmed atheist...won't he be surprised when he stands before GOD in the 2nd resurection!
DUMB,DUMB,DUMB
Those who understand will know that this world is spiralling down the drain with its appalling moral stances on genders...femenism...social control...its total lack of respect for elders, property.
The moronic me too & my right agenda.
The lack of interest in speaking correctly.
I can go on & on...BUT THE GREATEST SIN WHICH HAS BEEN WITH MAN FOR HIS TIME ON EARTH IS THE REJECTION OF GOD..NOW THE CONTINUED MOCKING & TAKING UP WITH OTHER BELIEFS THAT SATAN HAS SIMPLY LED PEOPLE ON TO.
All this is well documented in The one TRUE GOD YAHWEH & his word the Bible.
We truly are coming to the end of this age
OH WHAT JOY AS WE SHORTLY ENTER THE KINGDOM UNDER CHRIST😀
DEREK MARTIN
The man who hired me at CHR back in 93 passed away.
I shall always remember his gentle heart
FATIMA
A friend from missionary work days passed on.

EXHIBITION
Checked into the Royal Exhibition Hotel...dirty & smokey...area of Surry Hills...students,bars & gambling.
A spirit of oppression in this city...not surprised with all the imorality. Picked up a Dominos...certainly not as cheap as it was those many yrs ago in Oz.
CRUISE
Part of the train journey was a cruise on the Syd harbour bay. The vessel was lovely with v interresting comentary of historic & contempary affairs.
Drinks were free & a lunch was served. A storm arrived making the homeward journey quite rough & interresting.
A beautiful waterway with all the iconic landmarks.
IP
And so began the train journey on the Indian Pacific I had so anticipated. We were given refreshments at a hotel before departure. My cabin was smaller than I assumed but comfortable. Wifi was scratchy & only in saloon. Otherwise the service & food were acceptable, not exeptional.
After the 1st night we pulled into Broken Hill, an old minning town & backdrop to some movies incl. the Mad Max series.
Later in the afternoon we entered Adelaide. I took a tour on a bus to some sights ending in the hills & a German town Hahndorf & a fabulous restaurant with authentic German food & entertainment.
That night we pulled out of Adelaide & by the next day we were in WA.
We stopped at Cook & later for an outdoor experience. The next day we arrived in Perth.
I picked up my Toyota Carolla at the airport & headed for my apartment in Rockingham. I had fish & chips & felt delighted to be back in the town where it had all begun.
ROCKY
Drove down to Rockingham where I was to stay for 6 nights in a luxurious apartment overlooking the board walk & beach. I had a huge terrace where I spent many an hr in the late but hot winter sun.
The Galahs, ravens, magpies were making all those lovely cries...it brought back such wonderful memories. Young fit loooking mothers speed walking their babies in prams...children playing contently in the play areas are visions I shall always cherish.
That Sunday morning I met up with Anita,Marisa & Ollie for breakfast at a nearbye restaurant. They were delightful,so warm & friendly...later I spent more time with Marisa.
I then went to Veronica's grave...it was an emotional time.
I bought some groceries & joined Marisa at her church.
I cooked chicken & livers.
I walked over to Marisa's home. We went to Perons Pt...had long talk & saw some wonderful scenery... finished off with a coffee
Tues had a relaxing day enjoying the weather...dropped off a take out for Marisa...drove passed Andromeda St.
Drove up to Perth & to Mister Walker restaurant on the south side of the Swan...had a couple of Dingos...beers & met up with Mark,Ollie,Anita & Eddie...It was noisy but we had a good time & great meal
Mark & Ollie invited me over for dinner on my last night in Rocky. I gave them some left overs...Marisa joined us for a while...It was good company.
BUSSELTON
Left Rocky for my few days down south.
Stopped off at an animal sanctuary...RANGER RED in PINJARRA where I got to see all my marsupials, dingos, birds, camels, deer & alpacas plus loads of other animals...the town was also attractive.
Stopped by BUNBURY which was another attractive PORT.Found a SA store where I bought some BILTONG...then on to Busselton VILLAS...my home for the next 2 nights...pleasant & comfortable.
Drove down to Dunsborough...one of Veronica's favorite places...nice & quiet with beautiful beaches...stopped off at EAGLE BAY & loved the WILD LILIES.
ALBANY
On my way to my final stay in Oz.
Passed through NUNNUP, a picturesque town in the deep winery region.
Had lunch in a caravan park in MANJIMUP whilst being entertained by magpies.
Drove through the spacious MT BARKER & on to Albany where I checked into the motel.
Took a drive out to VANCOUVER PENINSULA,MARINE DR,HERTAGE PK,EMU PT, all lovely & beautiful. But my heart was heavy when I found the Youth Hostel where Veronica & I stayed had become a lodge, now closed & run down.
Still Albany is a great town & sometime I need to see more.
HOMEWARD BOUND...& so here we go...the marathon...left car at Albany airport...the flight was late leaving...the flight to Doha was late leaving...the flight to LHR was late leaving...made the ABn flight...shattered & home.
